Location: Hybrid / Remote (with travel to customer sites and office locations as required)

Atrium Associates is delighted to be supporting a leading Managed Service Provider in the search for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Cyber Security team, delivering a range of security services to organisations across multiple sectors. You'll work closely with customers to assess, improve and strengthen their security posture while providing practical, real-world security guidance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of penetration testing, Cyber Essentials consultancy, customer engagement and technical problem-solving.
What You'll Be Doing
Advising customers on Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus requirements and best practices.
Conducting Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments.
Delivering infrastructure and web application penetration testing engagements.
Carrying out vulnerability assessments and security reviews.
Producing clear, professional reports with practical remediation recommendations.
Presenting findings to both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Supporting pre-sales activities and customer consultations.
Maintaining technical documentation and assessment records.
Keeping up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities and industry trends.
Supporting and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the wider Cyber Security team.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must have experience in:
Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments
Infrastructure and/or Web Application Penetration Testing
Customer-facing cyber security consultancy
Producing technical security reports and remediation recommendations
Working directly with stakeholders from end users through to senior decision-makers
At least 3 years' experience within IT or Cyber Security
Technical Knowledge Required
Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Active Directory
TCP/IP, DNS, Switching and Firewall Technologies
Hyper-V and VMware Virtualisation
OWASP Top 10 Vulnerabilities
Vulnerability Management tools such as Nessus, Qualys or similar
Certifications Required
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold one of the following:
OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
CREST CRT
Cyber Scheme CSTM
VA+
Equivalent recognised penetration testing certification
These certifications are required for Cyber Essentials Plus assessment activities.
