The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role sitting at the heart of the business — combining sales coordination, design administration and project coordination. You'll be the go-to person ensuring briefs are clear, quotes go out accurately and on time, and orders move smoothly from enquiry through to post-dispatch review.
Day to day, you'll:
Clarify and validate customer briefs, and coordinate the Design Team's workload and priorities
Support the Director with sales generation and maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers
Analyse repeat enquiries and historical data to prepare accurate costings, quotes and supporting documentation, following these up proactively
Liaise with suppliers to secure the best pricing ahead of quoting
Attend sales meetings (virtual and some in-person) with current and potential customers
Run WHY-Q meetings with Design and Production ahead of quoting, and WHY-M meetings to hand new orders over to Production
Work closely with the Project Coordinator and Production Manager to manage lead times, and attend weekly production and forecasting meetings
Maintain Salesforce and manage projects for the Design Team via (url removed)
Provide weekly Won and Probability reports, support the Marketing Department, and handle general sales administration
Collaborate with the Sampling Coordinator on sample enquiries and orders
What We're Looking For
A solid understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management
Confident with Excel, Word and order processing systems
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
An analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform decisions
Proactive, upbeat and driven, with honesty and integrity at the core of how you work
Excellent attention to detail, sustained focus and a strong memory for customer detail and deadlines
What's on Offer
£30,000–£35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 (full-time, in-person)
Company pension scheme
Bright Exchange employee benefits platform
Employee Assistance Programme
PPE provided where required
On-site parking
Tea/refreshments and weekly fresh fruit
Employee referral scheme
