The Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Workplace Engineer / Application Packager to join a growing End User Services team, supporting high-profile clients and helping improve how applications are delivered to end users.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of application packaging, testing and troubleshooting, while also looking for opportunities to improve processes and introduce automation.
What you'll be doing
Packaging applications across multiple platforms
Using a range of application packaging tools and formats
Carrying out quality assurance and application testing
Troubleshooting packaging and application issues
Supporting UAT and resolving faults
Producing clear technical documentation
Working with clients, third parties and software vendors
Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvementWhat we're looking for
Strong experience in Application Packaging
Experience packaging applications across multiple platforms
Good knowledge of different packaging tools and formats
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with application testing and QA
SCCM Current Branch experience is desirable
Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
