Job Description
MIG Site Welder
We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Site Welder to join a busy and established team working on site-based fabrication and welding projects.
This role would suit a skilled welder who is confident working independently on site, reading drawings, and producing high-quality welds to the required standard.
Duties will include:

MIG welding on site
*
Fabrication and installation of structural and general steelwork
*
Welding mild steel to specification
*
Reading and working from engineering drawings
*
Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
*
Using grinders and other associated fabrication tools
*
Carrying out repairs and modifications where required
*
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
*
Following site health and safety procedures at all times
*
Working closely with site supervisors and other trades
Requirements:
*
Previous MIG welding experience is essential
*
Previous site welding experience preferred
*
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
*
Good fabrication and measuring skills
*
Competent using hand and power tools
*
Relevant welding qualifications advantageous
*
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
*
Full UK driving licence desirable
