HGV Class 1 Driver – Chesterfield (S44)
Location: Chesterfield, S44
Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver
Start Time: Around 06:00
Work: Pre-booked shifts
We are currently looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to cover work for a busy operation in the Chesterfield (S44) area.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular, planned work, with shifts booked in advance rather than relying on last-minute calls.
The Role
* Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
* Approximately 06:00 starts
* Providing planned cover for existing drivers
* Deliveries and collections as required
* Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
* Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and electronic PODs
* Following company procedures and drivers' hours regulations
* Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site staff
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 1 driving experience
* Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
* Reliable, punctual and professional approach
* Good communication skills
* A good understanding of vehicle safety and daily checks
