SEN Primary Teaching Assistant – Pinner
We are working with a SEN primary in Pinner that is looking for a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
As a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and engage positively within the school environment.
Requirements
* Previous UK-based experience supporting children with SEND is essential.
* Primary school experience is desirable.
* A patient, calm and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Confidence supporting individual learning and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support.
* Assist pupils with learning and development.
* Support individual education and behaviour plans.
* Encourage communication, confidence and independence.
* Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored activities.
* Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
* Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs.
