Full-Time Teaching Assistant – SEMH School Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire Position: Teaching Assistant Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their education and development? I C Talent are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in St Neots. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment. You will support pupils both academically and pastorally, helping them to develop their confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing. The role will involve: * Supporting pupils in the classroom and during activities * Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required * Helping pupils manage their emotions and behaviour * Building positive and trusting relationships with students * Supporting the delivery of engaging learning activities * Working closely with teachers and the wider school team * Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: * Patient, caring and empathetic * Confident working with children and young people * Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations * Passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH needs * A strong communicator and team player * Reliable and committed to working 5 days a week * Previous experience working with children, young people or within an education/SEMH setting is desirable Why Join I C Talent?
