Food Technology Teacher – Full-Time / Part-Time Location: Outskirts of Peterborough Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time preferred, part-time considered Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity? I C Talent are currently recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream school on the outskirts of Peterborough. The school is ideally looking for someone to join them full-time, however, they are happy to consider part-time applications for the right candidate. The Role You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students across a range of abilities. The role will include full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking. You will: * Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons * Prepare practical and theory-based lessons * Teach students across a range of abilities * Support students with practical cooking and food preparation * Complete planning, assessment and marking * Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback * Create a positive and inclusive learning environment * Encourage students to develop their confidence and practical skills * Work closely with colleagues and the wider school team The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: * Passionate about Food Technology and education * Creative, enthusiastic and engaging * Confident teaching practical lessons * Organised and able to manage planning and marking * Patient and supportive * Reliable and committed * A strong communicator and team player * QTS or equivalent is desirable * Previous experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting is desirable Why I C Talent?
