Registered Mental Health Nurse – RMN Location: Garforth, Leeds Pay: £19–£21 per hour Contract: Full-time, permanent opportunities Positions available: Five Brookes Recruitment is recruiting Registered Mental Health Nurses for a specialist women’s mental health hospital near Garforth, Leeds. The hospital supports women with complex mental health needs, particularly personality disorders. Its services include low-secure care, psychiatric intensive care and structured rehabilitation. Patients may also present with challenging behaviour, substance misuse, learning disabilities, disordered eating and dissociative identity disorder. Care is delivered through a recovery-focused, trauma-informed model by an experienced multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will: * Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate person-centred mental health nursing care. * Complete and regularly review individual care plans and risk assessments. * Administer and manage medication safely. * Monitor patients’ mental and physical wellbeing. * Respond appropriately to changes in presentation and periods of crisis. * Maintain professional boundaries and promote a safe therapeutic environment. * Support patients with rehabilitation, independence and recovery goals. * Contribute to multidisciplinary reviews and clinical discussions. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical records. * Follow safeguarding, infection-control and health-and-safety procedures. * Provide guidance and support to other members of the care team. Requirements Applicants must: * Be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse. * Hold a current UK NMC registration. * Have a compassionate, recovery-focused approach. * Be confident supporting people with complex mental health needs. * Possess strong communication, decision-making and record-keeping skills. * Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. * Have an existing Right to Work in the UK. Previous experience within an inpatient mental health hospital, PICU, secure service, personality-disorder service or rehabilitation setting would be advantageous. Apply today and we will be in touch
