Job Description
HGV Class 2 Driver Hourly rate of £17.93 per hour PAYE, 10 hours paid per shift. HGV Class 2 Driver working in the drainage sector (clean water) – 6 weeks work starting Monday 21st September, with the potential to become a temp to perm. Full training provided.
We’re recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for a leading drainage contractor working near Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a hands-on, varied role offering consistent work, strong earning potential, and a potential route into a permanent position.

The Role
You’ll work as part of a two-person team operating specialist drainage vehicle. The role combines HGV driving with hands-on drainage support work across the highways network.
Key Duties
Drive and operate HGV Class 2 drainage vehicle (Combination Unit) - Full training provided.
Work alongside an operative to support storm drain maintenance (clean water)
Assist in operating specialist equipment to maintain surface water systems
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficientlyHours
Monday to Friday
Approx. 50 hours per week
Day shifts only: 7am – 5pmPay
£17.93 per hour (PAYE)
Equivalent to £46,600+ basic based on typical hours
