GCSE English Tutor - Liverpool
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a confident GCSE English Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or tutor who can build rapport with learners, identify gaps in knowledge and deliver engaging sessions that help improve both academic ability and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored 1:1 GCSE English tuition
Plan lessons around individual learning objectives
Identify and address gaps in knowledge
Adapt resources and teaching strategies
Encourage learner engagement and confidence
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
Requirements
Strong knowledge of GCSE English
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
