Job Description
We are currently looking for a Gritter Driver. You will be working in Burnley.
12-hour standby shift pattern
Day and evening shifts
Temp Contract
Pay rate: £13.69ph paye
Job Purpose
* Undertake winter maintenance duties including precautionary salting and snow clearance operations in accordance with approved route plans and operational instructions.
* Operate gritting vehicles, plant, equipment and associated winter maintenance systems safely, effectively and efficiently.
* Monitor and report road, weather and treatment conditions during patrols and treatments.
