Job Description
Our client, a multi award winning travel company, are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Travel Coordination team and ensure all post?booking operations run smoothly, accurately and on time. You’ll manage people, processes and performance while delivering consistently high customer service standards. This is a Monday to Friday role and office based near Manchester and comes with a salary of up to £39,000. Operations Manager responsibilities: Lead & develop the team with clear expectations, coaching and regular reviews Oversee daily operations including bookings, amendments, flight allocations and documentation Manage escalations and support complex or sensitive customer cases Monitor KPIs, accuracy, productivity and service levels Improve processes and support cross departmental collaboration Maintain supplier relationships and escalate recurring issues Operations Manager skills required: Travel industry management experience (operations or customer service) Strong tour operator and airline/consolidator knowledge Proven ability to manage performance, workloads and service levels Confident handling complex escalations and operational disruption Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills Calm, decisive and collaborative approach in a fast?paced environment Additional information: Monday–Saturday (approx 1 Saturday in 7) Shifts: 8am–4pm, 9am–5:30pm, 9:30am–6pm Flexibility required for management or emergency cover Salary up to £39k plus bonus
