Mobile Fire & Security Engineer – CornwallLocation: Cornwall
Permanent Full-Time
Build Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Fire & Security Engineer to join a busy team covering Cornwall.
The role will involve carrying out Fire, Security and CCTV planned and reactive maintenance, along with supporting M&E repairs and minor Fire, Security and CCTV projects.
The Role
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to required standards
Respond to reactive maintenance issues, including basic M&E and fabric repairs
Complete testing and maintenance of Fire Alarm, CCTV and Security systems
Carry out fault finding and electrical servicing where required
Complete engineering condition reports and quotations
Maintain accurate paperwork and logbooks
Provide excellent customer service and communication
Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required
Requirements
Trade qualifications in Fire & Security Systems and Electrical
Valid certification for your primary trade
Experience with Fire Alarm, CCTV and Security maintenance/testing
Electrical fault-finding experience
18th Edition desirable
Good Health & Safety awareness
Ability to work independently and provide a professional service
Experience with basic fabric repairs, emergency lighting, controls or other M&E disciplines would also be advantageous.
