CNC MILLER PROGRAMMER / SETTER / OPERATOR
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours:
Monday to Thursday – 7:30am to 5:00pm
Earlier starts can be accommodated
Friday – 7:30am to 12:20pm
The Role
Our client is a well-established precision engineering company with a busy manufacturing environment. They are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machinery, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Programme CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls
*
Set and operate CNC milling machinery
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Manufacture components to tight tolerances
*
Select appropriate tooling and cutting parameters
*
Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks
*
Make programme adjustments where required
*
Ensure work is completed to the required quality standards
*
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator
*
Strong experience with Fanuc controls
*
Confident programming CNC milling machines
*
Able to read and understand engineering drawings
*
Experience working to tight tolerances
*
Good understanding of tooling and cutting techniques
*
Strong attention to detail and quality
*
Able to work independently and as part of a team
*
Reliable and committed approach to work
