Job Description
Site Manager
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project, overseeing construction activities including roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
*
Manage day-to-day site activities and site teams.
*
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
*
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
*
Oversee roads, drainage, utilities, excavations, earthworks, pipelines and civils.
*
Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and quality requirements are followed.
*
Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.
*
Monitor progress and ensure works are delivered to the required standards.
Requirements
*
Previous Site Management experience on roads, drainage, utilities, water, wastewater or major civil engineering projects.
*
SMSTS and relevant CSCS card.
*
Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and CDM.
*
Experience managing subcontractors and complex construction activities.
*
Good understanding of highways, drainage and utility installation.
*
Good communication, leadership and organisational skills
