Job Description
Our client is seeking a Stakeholder Communications Manager to support a major rail and transport infrastructure programme in Ireland. This permanent role will oversee stakeholder management and communications throughout the programme lifecycle, helping to ensure clear, coordinated and transparent engagement across a technically complex environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing and improving the existing stakeholder management strategy, including processes, procedures, controls, systems and reporting
Updating and developing communications strategies to support effective programme delivery and transparent stakeholder engagement
Coordinating stakeholder management activities across the lifecycle of a major transport infrastructure programme
Developing stakeholder management and communications requirements for contractors during the procurement process
Supporting the assessment and evaluation of contractor submissions against stakeholder and communications requirements
Working closely with delivery partners to coordinate stakeholder management across major infrastructure contracts
Engaging with stakeholders at all levels and providing guidance to support process improvement and project delivery
Reporting progress, risks and material issues to the Project Board and senior governance teams
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in stakeholder management and communications within major infrastructure, rail, construction or engineering programmes
Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement across the complete project lifecycle
Experience leading stakeholder and communications activities on high-value metro rail projects or programmes of similar scale and complexity
Proven ability to develop strategies, processes, procedures, standards and reporting frameworks
Experience of influencing stakeholders and driving best practice across technical activities and project controls
In-depth understanding of design and delivery requirements within the architectural, engineering and construction sectors
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior governance bodies
Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector
