RE Teacher – Doncaster
Location: Doncaster
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover
Start Date: October half term
Duration: 1 Year
Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
PK Education are working with a secondary school in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a Teacher of Religious Education on a full-time basis from October.
This is a one-year maternity cover within an established Humanities department, teaching RE across KS3 and KS4.
The school has a strong focus on developing students' understanding of religion, ethics and the wider world, with RE forming an important part of the wider curriculum. You'll be joining a department where teachers work closely together and students are encouraged to discuss and challenge ideas in a respectful environment.
The role includes:
Teaching RE across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Preparing students for GCSE where applicable
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Working collaboratively within the Humanities department
We're looking for:
QTS or relevant teaching experience
Strong RE subject knowledge
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
Confident classroom management
