Qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant Hours: Monday – Friday, Part-Time or Full-Time, 3–5 Days Per Week Shift: 8:00am – 6:30pm Location: Beaconsfield, HP9 Start Date: ASAP / September Start Available UES1 About the Role We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Beaconsfield. You will support children with their learning, development and daily routines, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in line with the EYFS. The role would suit an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and building positive relationships. Key Responsibilities * Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities * Assist with EYFS-based planning and activities * Support children’s communication, social and emotional development * Help with daily routines, meals and personal care * Observe and record children’s progress * Promote positive behaviour and independence * Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment * Work closely with the wider nursery team and families What We’re Looking For Essential: * Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent * Previous nursery or Early Years experience * Good understanding of the EYFS * Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service * Right to Work in the UK Desirable: * Experience working with children aged 0–5 * Paediatric First Aid * Experience supporting children with additional needs What This Role Offers * ASAP / September start available * Part-time or full-time options * 3–5 days per week * Consistent 8:00am–6:30pm shifts * Supportive Early Years environment * Long-term opportunity with potential for permanent work
