Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Property & Development Manager to support Pembrokeshire County Council's Head of Property, Regeneration & Economic Development. This is a senior strategic role responsible for supporting the management and optimisation of the Council's property portfolio and delivering its strategic asset management agenda. * County Hall, Freemans Way, Haverfordwest, SA61 1TP * £37.43 per hour –Umbrella * 3 months+ contract * Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days remote * Full UK driving licence required Key Responsibilities: * Lead strategic asset management and property strategy initiatives. * Manage estate optimisation, rationalisation and development programmes. * Lead on property acquisitions, disposals and investment opportunities. * Oversee property valuation activity and ensure compliance with RICS and CIPFA requirements. * Prepare business cases, options appraisals and investment strategies. * Monitor property performance, income generation and capital receipts. * Provide senior professional property advice to Directors, senior officers and elected Members. * Support major regeneration and corporate property projects. * Lead and develop a professional property team. * Deputise for the Head of Property when required. About You: We are looking for an experienced MRICS/FRICS property professional with: * Significant experience in strategic asset management or corporate property. * Strong knowledge of property acquisitions, disposals, development and valuations. * Experience managing a property portfolio and/or professional property team. * Excellent commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills. * Experience within a local authority, public sector or similar complex property environment is desirable. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle..
