Job Type: Guaranteed Hours Contract (Minimum 40 hours/week, PAYE or Umbrella)

Shift Pattern: 4-on-4-off shift pattern

Pay Rates:

Days: £14.50 / hour

Nights: £15.25 / hour

Weekends: £16.00 / hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Forklift Truck Driver / Telehandler Operator to join a busy rail engineering parts stores facility in Sherburn in Elmet. Working on a structured 4-on-4-off shift pattern, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic warehouse environment and wants guaranteed weekly hours with competitive shift premiums.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate FLT and telehandler equipment to move materials and lift pallets across the site.

Assist within the warehouse and stores environment during peak times.
*
Work collaboratively with team members and other drivers to ensure efficient material handling.
*
Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries of equipment and materials.
*
Prepare, kit, and stage components to ensure engineering teams are fully equipped before works begin.
*
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with site health and safety standards.
Role Requirements
*
Valid, in-date FLT Licence with verifiable training evidence/certificate.
*
Telehandler experience or ticket is highly advantageous.
*
Previous forklift experience within a manufacturing, logistics, or stores environment is preferred.
*
A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
*
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and ability to adapt to a 4-on-4-off rota
