Manufacturing Engineer / Programmer

Our client, a leader in global aerospace component manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer/Programmer, to join their engineering department based in Havering, Greater London. The Manufacturing Engineer/Programmer will create CNC programmes, tooling solutions and process documentation while driving continuous improvement to enhance quality, productivity and cost‑effectiveness across the machining function. Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer / Programmer * Produce accurate CNC programmes for 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining. * Design jigs, fixtures and work holdings for new and existing components. * Define tooling, routings and process requirements to support production. * Deliver engineering tasks on time and within budget. * Create and maintain clear process documentation. * Drive continuous improvement across machining and manufacturing. * Research new technologies to support future capability. To be Considered for the Manufacturing Engineer / Programmer * Strong CNC programming experience across 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining. * Proven background in precision engineering, ideally within aerospace. * Ability to design jigs, fixtures and work‑holding solutions. * Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling and materials. * Experience developing production routings and process documentation. * Competence in problem‑solving and continuous improvement activities. * Ability to manage engineering tasks within time and budget constraints. * Familiarity with modern machining technologies and emerging manufacturing methods. * Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
