Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership in Guildford, seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled professional to progress within a well-established dealership, working in a supportive environment that values expertise and development. Benefits:  Competitive basic salary up to £50,000, depending on experience and qualifications Bonus potential of up to £15,000 annually Overtime paid at 1.5x rates 42.5-hour working week with flexible working hours 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays Opportunities for career progression and specialisation, including hybrid and electric vehicle work Workshop operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30 am to 12:30 pm)Duties of a Vehicle Technician: Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to the highest standards Work on a variety of vehicle types, including hybrid and electric models Assist with technical diagnosis and troubleshooting as a Master Technician or Service Technician Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workshop operations Maintain accurate documentation of all work performedRequirements of a Vehicle Technician: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Service Technician Full valid UK driving licence Qualification as a Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technician is highly desirable Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with hybrid and electric vehicles Ability to work flexibly and deliver high-quality workmanship under pressure Excellent communication skills and team player attitudeOur client is committed to supporting technicians to succeed and progress within the automotive industry.
