Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Aftersales Manager in Leicester. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering a competitive basic salary of £40,000 and an on-target earning potential of £65,000. The Aftersales Manager role requires experienced automotive management to oversee Service and Parts departments within a busy dealership environment.

The successful Aftersales Manager will be responsible for leading the department, maximising efficiency, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring departmental profitability.

45 hours per week
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
One in four Saturday mornings, 8:30am–12:30pm
Sundays off

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Aftersales department
Lead, motivate, and develop the Service and Parts teams
Monitor department KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance
Maximise workshop productivity and profitability
Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction
Oversee Service and Parts operations, ensuring effective communication and cooperation
Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and company protocols
Handle customer queries and escalations professionally
Support recruitment, training, and development of staff
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and manufacturer representatives
Identify opportunities for additional revenue streams and improved customer retentionRequirements:
Previous experience in Aftersales Management within the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of Service and Parts operations
Proven leadership, team motivation, and development skills
Solid understanding of profitability and commercial awareness
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to analyse performance data and work towards challenging targets
Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities
