SEN Teaching Assistant Full-Time | Ongoing Position | Start Date: 21st September Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. This rewarding role involves supporting students from Year 7 through to Sixth Form, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment. The Role * Providing classroom-based support to students with SEND. * Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including: * Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) * Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) * Dyslexia * Social, Emotional and Behavioural Needs (SEMH) * Delivering both general classroom support and targeted 1:1 support where required. * Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement, confidence, and academic progress. * Working closely with teachers and the wider SEND team to provide effective support. What We're Looking For * Experience working with children or young people with SEND is mandatory. * Candidates from education, care, support work, youth work, or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply. * A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach. * Strong communication and behaviour management skills. * A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed. Essential Requirement An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is mandatory for this role.
