CAD/CAM Manufacturing Engineer 6-Month Contract | Outside IR35 | Overtime Available A specialist engineering and manufacturing business supplying high-integrity products into critical applications is looking for experienced CAD/CAM Manufacturing Engineers to join their Manufacturing Engineering team on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on programming role focused on CNC machining, production planning and proving out complex programmes alongside machine operators. The Role Day-to-day CNC programming of precision machined components. Creating production plans and manufacturing documentation. Proving out more complex programmes with CNC operators. Supporting machining across modern multi-axis and legacy CNC equipment. Working with ISO code and supporting continuous improvements to machining processes.Key Requirements Extensive CNC programming experience, ideally with SolidCAM – experience with other CAD/CAM packages will also be considered. Strong Vericut experience. Experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls. Confident working with ISO/NC code. Experience programming 3+2 and/or 5-axis machining, with broader experience across lathes and horizontal machining centres. Strong understanding of precision manufacturing and CNC machining.Machines Experience with Mazak Integrex, Mazak VARIAXIS, plus older equipment including 2-axis lathes, Pumas, Doosans and Matsuuras would be highly relevant. Shifts Week 1: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:00pm | Friday 6:00am–11:30am Week 2: Monday–Thursday 1:00pm–9:00pm | Friday 11:30am–5:00pm Overtime available.
