Job Description
Role: Finishing Foreman
Project: University Refurbishment
Location: Manchester
Rate: £23 per hour
Start: Monday 21st September
Length: 8 Weeks
Experience:
Extensive experience as a Finishing Foreman on refurbishment projects
Previous experience working on university or educational projects preferred
Proven track record as a Finishing Foreman
Must have been previously placed by Caval with excellent references
Strong knowledge of finishing trades and refurbishment works
Confident managing subcontractors and site labour
Good health and safety knowledge
Strong eye for detail and quality of finish
Able to manage snagging and ensure works are completed to a high standard
Willing to work weekends if requiredCerts:

SMSTS / SSSTS desirableResponsibilities:
Manage and coordinate finishing trades on site
Oversee day-to-day finishing works across the university refurbishment
Manage subcontractors and direct site labour
Ensure works are completed to a high standard and in line with the programme
Coordinate with the Site Manager and other trades
Monitor progress and report any issues or delays
Carry out quality checks and manage snagging works
Ensure all finishing works meet the required specification
Maintain good health and safety standards throughout the project
Keep the site clean, tidy and organised
Liaise with other site teams to ensure smooth handovers
Assist with the day-to-day running of the site as required
