Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Enfield, North London
Pay: £120 per day
Contract: Full Time
Start: ASAP
Remedy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming school in Enfield, North London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA who is looking to take on greater responsibility within the classroom and make a real difference to pupils' learning and development.
The Role:
Supporting pupils across the school with their learning and development
Leading small group and intervention sessions
Providing targeted 1:1 support where required
Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and classroom activities
Taking responsibility for lessons or activities when required
Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
Helping pupils build confidence, independence and engagement with learning
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confident leading small groups and learning activities
Excellent communication and organisation skills
A patient, supportive and proactive approach
Experience working within a UK school setting
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply
