Job Description
Our client, a well-established, multi award-winning Architectural practice with multiple studios across the UK are currently seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join their growing team in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Part II to work as part of an experienced, talented and collaborative team.
The practice has built an excellent reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions across a wide range of sectors. Their expertise spans projects from small-scale refurbishments through to large new-build developments within the Science & Research, Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Retail sectors. They have a particularly strong pipeline of Laboratory and Science & Research projects alongside Residential developments, providing an excellent opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to develop their experience across a range of project types and RIBA stages.

Work closely with experienced Architects and senior team members across a range of projects
Contribute to the design and development of projects across sectors including Science & Research, Healthcare, Residential and Education
Assist with projects through a range of RIBA Stages, gaining valuable exposure to both design and technical delivery
Produce architectural drawings, models and presentation information
Develop technical knowledge and assist with the production of detailed construction information
Use Revit as part of the day-to-day design and project delivery process
Assist with the coordination of information from consultants and other project team members
Attend project meetings and site visits where appropriate, gaining experience of the construction process
Work collaboratively within project teams whilst developing the ability to take responsibility for individual tasks
Support the delivery of high-quality architectural and technical information
Take an active role in your professional development, with support towards progression and Part IIIPart II Architectural Assistant Requirements
Living within a commutable distance of Oxford
Part II qualified in Architecture or equivalent UK-recognised qualification
Good knowledge of Revit with experience using the software within an architectural practice
Good design and technical drawing skills
Some experience working across UK-based architectural projects
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations would be advantageous
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enthusiastic and motivated to develop within a growing architectural practice
