An excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a large, award-winning AJ100 architectural practice within their South Hampshire team.
Part of a national practice with studios across the UK, you’ll benefit from the project exposure, resources and career opportunities of a much larger business, while working as part of a collaborative regional team. The practice works across an incredibly varied portfolio of projects and sectors, with a strong pipeline of work continuing to come through.
They are now looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist to strengthen the team as projects continue to grow in scale. This is a hands on technical role, working across the delivery stages and taking responsibility for producing and coordinating high-quality technical information.
You’ll be involved in projects through the technical and construction stages, working closely with Architects, fellow Technologists, consultants and contractors from detailed design through to completion.
The role will include:
Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages
Working across RIBA Stages 4–5
Coordinating information with consultants and wider design teams
Developing and resolving construction details
Responding to technical queries throughout the construction stages
Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
Attending project and site meetings where required
Liaising with contractors and consultants throughout project delivery
Reviewing and coordinating technical information
Supporting the successful delivery of projects on site
Requirements:
An experienced Architectural Technologist with good UK project experience
Strong technical detailing and construction knowledge
Experience delivering projects through the later RIBA stages
A good understanding of UK Building Regulations
Experience producing and coordinating technical drawing packages
Confidence liaising with consultants and contractors
Good communication and organisational skills
Revit proficiency is essential
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established national practice, work on increasingly large and complex projects and continue developing your technical experience within a supportive team, with plenty of scope for future progression
