Multi Trade Plumber - North London
Permanent Position | Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
My client is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Plumber to join their North London repairs team on a permanent basis.
The role will cover areas including Hackney, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Barnet and Enfield. You will have a primary working area but may be required to work across the wider North London region when needed.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing repairs and maintenance within residential properties, including:
Plumbing repairs and replacements
Sinks and water tanks
Bathroom repairs and replacements
General plumbing maintenanceIn addition to your plumbing skills, you will need experience in other basic maintenance trades, including:
Basic carpentry
Tiling
Painting & decorating
Patch plastering
General multi-trade repairs
Requirements
Strong plumbing trade knowledge and experience
Previous experience within housing maintenance, property maintenance or a similar environment
NVQ or relevant trade qualification
Good knowledge of different types of residential properties
Wide range of multi-trade skills
Full manual driving licence - essential
Own basic hand tools
Health & Safety conscious
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A right-first-time approach to repairs
Previous experience in a similar role
Working Hours & Benefits
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
There is also the opportunity to earn additional money through call-outs and out-of-hours work.
The role is customer-facing, so you will need to take pride in your work and be able to provide a professional service to residents, with a focus on completing repairs right first time and minimising follow-on work.
