An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join an established and growing Mechanical Contractor based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Project Management, gaining hands on experience delivering mechanical projects across a range of Industrial refurbishment and new build developments throughout the Midlands and London. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career within Mechanical Project Management. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the planning and delivery of mechanical projects Supporting Project Managers with programme, costs and project documentation Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers Assisting with procurement and the coordination of materials and labour Attending site meetings and carrying out site visits Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety Helping to manage subcontractors and site teams About You You will be an ambitious and motivated individual who is keen to develop a career within mechanical build and project management. The successful individual may already have some experience within the mechanical building services or construction sector, or you could be a recent graduate/apprentice looking for the right company to develop your career. Ideally, you will have: An interest in mechanical services / engineering Some experience within a mechanical contracting or construction environment. Strong organisational and communication skills A willingness to learn and take responsibility. Good attention to detail. The confidence to communicate with clients, subcontractors and colleagues. A full UK driving licence, or be working towards one
