Electrician
Electrician needed on a permanent basis in Peterborough, close to Stamford, Huntingdon, Spalding, March and Grantham.
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a leading facilities and engineering team on a permanent basis, covering MOD and secure sites across the eastern region. This is a mobile role with a 37-hour working week, plenty of downtime between planned tasks and a strong work-life balance.
The successful Electrician will predominantly be responsible for electrical testing, including EICRs, PAT testing and LPS testing, alongside escorting subcontractors and supporting occasional small electrical installation projects.
Duties:
* Carry out electrical testing including EICRs, PAT testing and LPS testing across MOD and secure sites.
* Escort and supervise subcontractors on site, ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standards.
* Complete electrical maintenance and minor remedial works where required.
* Support occasional small electrical installation projects, with overtime available when additional works are required.
* Complete relevant paperwork, reports and documentation following completed works and site visits.
Requirements:
* Gold Card with 2391 Qualification
* Previous experience working within commercial, industrial, facilities management or similar environments.
* Experience carrying out EICRs, PAT testing and other electrical testing is essential.
* Willingness and ability to travel across the eastern region as part of a mobile role.
* Able to obtain MOD SC clearance, which will be fully sponsored by the client.
