Production Operative

Sutton Recruitment are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join our new client based in the HU7 area of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy chilled food processing facility, offering ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. Please note: This is a chilled working environment and the role can be physically demanding. Applicants must be comfortable working in a cold environment. The Role Working as part of a busy production team, your duties may include: Working on a production line within a chilled food processing facility Picking, packing and preparing food products Labelling and checking products Following customer specifications and production procedures Maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and food safety Working towards production targets Following all health and safety procedures General production duties as required Full training will be provided, although previous experience within food production or a chilled environment would be advantageous. Working Hours & Pay 4 days on / 4 days off 6:00am – 6:00pm £12.85 per hour Full-time hours Ongoing work Temp to Perm opportunity The Person We are looking for reliable and hardworking candidates who: Are comfortable working in a chilled environment Can work as part of a team Have a good eye for detail Are reliable and punctual Can follow instructions and production procedures Are flexible and willing to learn Have a strong approach to health and safety Previous experience in food production, food processing, packing or a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
