Project / Contracts Manager
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Project / Contracts Manager to join an established contractor based in Horsham.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and industrial projects, with experience managing projects from initial planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple civils and industrial projects from start to finish.
* Take overall responsibility for programme, budget, quality and delivery.
* Manage subcontractors, site teams and suppliers.
* Coordinate labour, plant and materials.
* Monitor project progress and ensure programmes are maintained.
* Manage client relationships and attend project meetings.
* Review project costs, variations and commercial performance.
* Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with relevant legislation.
* Prepare and review RAMS, programmes and project documentation.
* Carry out regular site visits and monitor project performance.
* Work closely with Directors and the wider management team.
* Identify and resolve issues before they impact programme or cost.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager or similar.
* Strong civils / civil engineering background.
* Experience working on industrial projects.
* Good understanding of construction programmes, costs and project delivery.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Comfortable managing subcontractors and site teams.
* Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Relevant construction qualifications.
* Full UK driving licence.
This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who can take ownership of projects, manage teams effectively and build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
