Our client, a well-established main dealer in Luton, Bedfordshire, is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Vehicle Technicians seeking a long-term position within a reputable, family-run automotive business with over 80 years of experience. The ideal Vehicle Technician will have strong technical skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a desire for ongoing training and development. Benefits: Basic salary of approximately £35,000, negotiable based on experience OTE up to £40,000 annually Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm One in two Saturday mornings, 8:00am – 1:00pm, paid as overtime Manufacturer training programmes and career development opportunities Modern workshop facilities equipped with the latest diagnostic technology Supportive and professional working environment Genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a stable businessDuties of a Vehicle Technician: Performing routine vehicle servicing and maintenance Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools Conducting repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, and other mechanical systems Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks Identifying additional repairs required and providing accurate reports Ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and specifications Maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity Adhering to health and safety protocols Collaborating effectively within a workshop team to ensure efficient workflowRequirements of a Vehicle Technician: NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent as a Vehicle Technician Proven experience within a professional workshop environment Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills  Knowledge of modern vehicle technology High attention to detail and commitment to quality Capable of working independently and as part of a team Professional attitude and reliable work ethic Full UK driving licence MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essentialThis role offers a remote, engaging working environment with excellent technical support and development programmes.
