The Role You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and commissioning of: * Fire Alarm Systems * Intruder Alarm Systems * CCTV Systems * Access Control Systems * Other electronic security systems maintained by the business Working across commercial and residential properties, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clients' systems remain fully operational, compliant, and effective. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, maintain and repair fire and security systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits. Diagnose faults and efficiently repair systems. Test fire alarm systems and associated components. Complete all service documentation and electronic reports accurately. Ensure all systems comply with current industry standards and regulations. Provide technical advice and support to customers. Deliver excellent customer service at every visit. Participate in the out-of-hours standby and call-out rota. Respond to emergency breakdowns and attend urgent customer requirements. What We're Looking For Essential: Experience working with fire alarm and/or electronic security systems. Ability to fault find and repair a range of system types and manufacturers. Strong understanding of maintenance and service procedures. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional and customer-focused approach. Ability to pass relevant background screening checks. Desirable: FIA, BS5839, NSI, SSAIB or manufacturer certifications. Experience with Access Control and CCTV systems. Knowledge of current fire and security industry regulations. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
