Electrician  Location: Cambridge / Cambridgeshire Salary: £40,000 per annum plus package  Hours: 40 hours per week I am currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrician to join an established engineering business based in Cambridge. This is a permanent opportunity for an electrician with a strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault finding, looking for a varied role within an established engineering team. The role will involve working across both domestic and commercial environments, carrying out planned and reactive electrical works for a variety of customers. The business operates across a broad range of building services, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work across a varied range of electrical projects.   Key Responsibilities Electrical installation and maintenance Electrical testing and inspection, including EICRs Fault finding and electrical repairs Remedial works and electrical upgrades Installation and maintenance of lighting and power systems Planned and reactive electrical works Working across domestic and commercial properties Diagnosing electrical faults and providing effective solutions Completing job sheets and relevant documentation Working safely and in line with current electrical regulations Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and clients Required Qualifications & Experience Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Relevant Inspection & Testing qualification and practical experience Previous experience working as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer or Electrical Technician Strong electrical installation and maintenance experience Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience completing electrical testing and inspection, including EICRs Good knowledge of current electrical regulations Full UK driving licence Good health and safety awareness Ability to work independently and as part of an established engineering team Professional and customer-focused approach Salary & Benefits £40,000 per annum  40 hours per week Permanent position Established engineering business Varied domestic and commercial electrical work Opportunity to work across a broad range of electrical services Established in-house engineering team Long-term career opportunity Further package and benefit details will be confirmed during the recruitment process.   Working Hours 40 hours per week Full-time, permanent position.   How to Apply If you are a qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer based in or around Cambridge and are looking for a permanent opportunity paying £40,000, I would be interested in speaking with you.
