Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer
St Albans | London & Home Counties | £40,000–£45,000 + Door-to-Door Travel
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?
We're looking for a Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer to join an established and growing engineering team. This is a hands-on senior role combining complex commissioning, fault-finding and technical support, alongside mentoring and developing other engineers.
Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer Role
* Commission and fault-find on fire alarm systems ranging from small standalone systems to 500+ device networked systems
* Provide technical support to engineers and the wider business
* Configure panels and cause & effect programming
* Support onsite training and development of engineering team members
* Help maintain high standards of compliance, quality and customer service
Experience Required
You'll ideally have:
* 5+ years' fire alarm engineering experience
* Strong commissioning and fault-finding ability
* Advanced knowledge of fire alarm configuration
* Experience with Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley and/or Kentec
* Knowledge of air sampling, suppression and/or smoke ventilation is advantageous
* A clean UK driving licence
* A stable employment history
* The ability to commute to St Albans and work across London & the Home Counties
