Assembly Operator – Ystrad Mynach £13.09 – £16.23 per hour | Temporary until at least 24th December 2026 (potential to extend) | Immediate Start Available Nu Staff are currently recruiting for Assembly Operators to join a well-established manufacturer based in Ystrad Mynach. This is a temporary role running until at least 24th December, with the possibility of extension, and an excellent opportunity for candidates with production or assembly experience to secure ongoing work with the chance of permanent employment. One of the biggest benefits of this role is that it's only Monday to Thursday – enjoy a 4-day working week! As an Assembly Operator, you'll work on a fast-paced production line, using hand tools to assemble products to a high standard while meeting daily targets. Hours of Work: First 4 weeks (Training – Afternoons): Monday to Thursday, 3:00PM – 12:00AM Ongoing (Mornings): Monday to Thursday, 5:30AM – 3:00PM 20 and 30 minute breaks included Pay Rates Training Period (Afternoons) £16.23 per hour Ongoing Rate (Mornings) £13.09 per hour Key Responsibilities: Work on a fast-paced assembly line to meet production requirements Use a variety of hand tools safely and effectively Maintain high attention to detail when assembling products Achieve daily production targets set by supervisors Follow Health & Safety policies and maintain a clean working environment Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure smooth operations What We're Looking For: Previous assembly or production experience (essential) Confident using hand tools (essential) Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable and team-oriented attitude Benefits: Temp-to-perm opportunity Immediate starts available Supportive team environment 4-day working week – long weekends every week!
