Project Planner – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for a Project Planner to join its growing planning team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for either an early-career Planner looking to develop or an established Project Planner wanting exposure to major, long-term infrastructure schemes. The Role Working alongside an experienced planning team, you'll support projects from early contractor involvement and tender stage through to delivery and completion. You'll be responsible for: * Developing, updating and maintaining project programmes * Using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project * Supporting programmes across tender, pre-construction and live delivery * Building programmes from first principles * Monitoring progress and identifying programme risks or delays * Working closely with Project Managers, site teams and commercial teams * Supporting reporting, change management and NEC contract requirements * Ensuring programmes accurately reflect project progress and delivery requirements What We're Looking For Ideally you'll have: * Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, highways or water * Previous experience in a Planner / Project Planner position * Knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project * Understanding of project programming and construction sequencing * Exposure to NEC contracts would be advantageous * Strong communication and analytical skills * Full UK driving licence Civil Engineering qualifications such as an HNC/HND or equivalent would be beneficial but aren't essential.
