SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary Schools) Blackpool, Wyre & Fylde Coast Start Date: After October Half-Term 2026 Looking for a rewarding SEN role where you can genuinely make a difference every day? Teaching Personnel is recruiting dedicated, compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Primary Schools across Blackpool, Wyre and the Fylde Coast from after the October half-term break. We are working with a number of supportive and inclusive schools that require SEN support staff to provide both classroom and 1:1 support for children with a range of additional needs. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils and help them overcome barriers to learning. There are long-term and short-term roles available.  The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting pupils with: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD) ADHD SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs) Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN) Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Global Development Delay Sensory Processing Difficulties Emotional Regulation Needs Challenging Behaviour EHCP Requirements Responsibilities may include: ✅ Delivering 1:1 support and small group interventions ✅ Supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally ✅ Implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs ✅ Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing ✅ Building strong, trusting relationships with children ✅ Working closely with Teachers, SENDCOs and external professionals ✅ Supporting pupils to access learning and reach their full potential Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
