Job Description
Job Title: FLT & Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance)
Location: Peterlee
Hours: Monday to Friday – Various day shifts available, including mornings and late shifts
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (subject to successful interview)
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)
Load and unload deliveries promptly and accurately
Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and stock movement
Maintain accurate records and adhere to company procedures
Ensure the work area is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
Comply fully with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence, with a refresher completed within the last three years (please note: in-house training is not accepted)
Previous experience in a similar warehouse or FLT role
Physically fit, reliable, and punctual
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Successful completion of an interview prior to commencement
