Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Company van, 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays and pension
Curve Recruitment are working with an established M&E and HVAC Building Services Contractor based near Newmarket who are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their growing HVAC team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to join a growing business with a varied workload across commercial and residential projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems working across a variety of sites and dealing directly with clients and other contractors.
You will work closely with the HVAC Manager and wider M&E team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
As the Air Conditioning Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
* Carry out installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
* Work on a range of commercial and residential projects.
* Install and commission split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
* Diagnose and repair faults on air conditioning systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts.
* Complete service reports and relevant job documentation.
* Liaise with clients.
* Ensure compliance with F-Gas legislation and relevant industry standards.
* Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
* Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
* Experience in installation, servicing and fault finding.
* Relevant air conditioning/HVAC qualifications.
* F-Gas certification.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* A full UK driving licence.
