Job Description
Our client is seeking a Site Manager to support major civil engineering and wastewater projects across North Wales. The role will involve overseeing site operations at Llanrwst Wastewater Treatment Works and other wastewater sites in the region, contributing to the successful delivery of a multi-million-pound programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day site operations across wastewater and civil engineering projects
Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and specialist contractors
Monitoring construction activities to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards
Maintaining effective communication with project managers, engineers, clients and other stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental and quality requirements
Reviewing progress, identifying potential issues and supporting the delivery of project milestones
Maintaining accurate site records, reports and relevant project documentation
Job Requirements:
Experience working as a Site Manager within civil engineering, water or wastewater projects
Strong understanding of construction site management and project delivery processes
Knowledge of health and safety standards within the construction and water sectors
Ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage site activities effectively
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and environmental compliance
Relevant site management or civil engineering qualifications, with suitable site safety certification
Willingness to work across wastewater sites in North Wales, with proximity to St Asaph advantageous
Contract Details:
Initial 12-month contract
Opportunities based at Llanrwst Wastewater Treatment Works and wastewater sites across North Wales
Engagement outside IR35
