Job Description
Kitchen Porters Wanted
Blue Arrow is recruiting Kitchen Porters to support busy kitchen teams across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in keeping school kitchens clean, organised, and running efficiently. Working alongside experienced catering teams, you'll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen utensils
Cleaning kitchen equipment and work surfaces
Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
Assisting with the unloading and storage of deliveries
Disposing of waste and recycling appropriately
Supporting the catering team with general kitchen duties
Ensuring all health & safety and food hygiene procedures are followed
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Previous Kitchen Porter, catering, or kitchen experience
Good communication and teamwork skills
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adhere to all allergen, hygiene, and food safety standards
