ASAP Start | £150-£220 per day | Full-Time | Temporary
Are you a passionate primary teacher ready for a new opportunity? A welcoming and supportive school in Reading is looking for an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis.
This role is ideal for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences for younger pupils and is keen to make a positive contribution within a supportive school community.
The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
Create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to individual learning needs.
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
Encourage independence, confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress.About You
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A creative, flexible and enthusiastic teaching style.
High expectations for both learning and behaviour.
