We are currently recruiting Software Engineers for a major technology programme in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for backend or full-stack engineers with strong Java/Spring Boot and Python/PySpark experience to work on scalable, data-intensive applications and modern distributed systems.
ocation: Dublin, Ireland – Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
Contract: 12 months

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and enhance scalable backend and full-stack applications.
Build production applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate microservices and RESTful APIs.
Work with Python/PySpark within data-intensive applications.
Contribute to system design, API contracts, data flows and service integrations.
Work with relational databases and distributed data stores.
Support testing, CI/CD, observability and production-quality engineering.
Troubleshoot application, API, data and cloud-related issues.
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
Work collaboratively within Agile engineering teams.
Essential Skills
Commercial software engineering experience within backend or full-stack development.
Strong Java development experience.
Strong Spring Boot experience.
Python and/or PySpark experience.
Strong experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
Experience with relational databases and distributed data stores.
Good understanding of software engineering principles, testing and production support.
Ability to work onsite in Dublin 3 days per week.
Desirable Skills
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
