CNC Machinist – CNC Millers and CNC Turners * 4 day working week Monday to Thursday – Rotating Shifts * £23.78 per hour - £19.82 plus 20% shift allowance * Life Assurance and 3.5% pension contributions * Great working environment * Great company culture * Excellent Benefits We are working with a respected client of ours based in Manchester who are recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter / Operator to work on Mazak machines and use Mazatrol programming and CNC Turners working on QT250/Proturn. The Job for CNC Millers * Responsible for the machining of detailed high tolerance components, using CNC 3 & 5 Axis machining centres. * Operating and setting of Mazak 5 and 3 Axis CNC machines. * Primarily conversant with Mazak machine controls with some ability in Mazatrol online programming. (Predominantly Offline fed). * Interpret engineering drawings, documents, manuals and technical instructions with clear understanding * Producing a wide range of precision components. The Job for CNC Turners * Operating X,Y,Z Proturn Lathe/QT 250 * Interpret engineering drawings, documents, manuals and technical instructions with clear understanding * Producing a wide range of precision components. * All programming is done on the machine not offline so just need someone self sufficient About you * Time served Mechanical engineer with extensive machine shop experience (5 years minimum). * Looking for candidates with multi axis experience can train to use Mazak * Looking for candidates with CNC Turning experience * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, documents, manuals and technical instructions with clear understanding. * Possess fundamental skills that are required to confidently set complex work pieces prior to machining to undertake manufacture. * Experience in using up to date machining strategies utilising High Feed/Speed tooling. * Be skilled and conversant in the setting and operation of Mazak VariAxis i500 and/or Mazak VTC800 5 Axis machining centres is advantageous * Have a working knowledge of CNC Machine controls such as, Mazak Matrix2, Mazak Smooth X & Siemens D840 is advantageous For more information, please send your CV, in confidence, to James at The Recruitment Fix
