Civils Technician Location: Southwark, London Salary: Up to £45k Full-Time | Hybrid Working (2 days in the office per week) I'm working with an established civil engineering and transport planning consultancy in London who are looking to add a Civils Technician to their growing team. The consultancy has a strong residential focus, working on a range of infrastructure projects across London and the wider UK. This is a good opportunity for a Civils Technician looking to develop their technical skills and gain further experience within a supportive consultancy environment. The Role As a Civils Technician, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, supporting the delivery of residential infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design. Your responsibilities will include: Producing detailed technical drawings and documentation for residential developments Using Site 3D to support civil engineering design Working on highways, drainage and SuDS schemes Preparing drawings and information for adoption and maintenance submissions Working closely with engineers and project teams to develop practical design solutions Supporting the delivery of projects to a high technical standard What They're Looking For Previous experience working as a Civils Technician or similar role Experience within residential infrastructure / development projects Good knowledge of Site 3D Experience producing technical drawings and design documentation Understanding of highways, drainage and SuDS Strong attention to detail and a willingness to develop technically Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Benefits Salary up to £45k, depending on experience Hybrid working - 2 days in the office Flexible working options 24 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service Pension contributions up to 5% BUPA health scheme Income protection and Employee Assistance Programme Quarterly company social events Professional development and training support If you're a Civils Technician with residential infrastructure experience and are looking for a role where you can continue developing your technical skills, I'd be keen to speak with you.
